Waterwatch resources

We have a range of games and activities based on life cycles, waterbugs and river health available for loan to schools.

The Waterwatch trailer is a fully equipped mobile display centre which can be taken to schools, events, excursions or camps to run activities on topics such as waterbugs, water quality, river health and salinity.

Mallee Future Farming game and education package

Is coming soon!  An interactive game through which students can learn about sustainable dryland farming practices.  To register your interest in receiving the game and resources when they are released contact us.

Junior Landcare

Schools can gain funding for environmental projects by forming Junior Landcare groups.  Call the Mallee CMA or go to the Junior Landcare website

Events       

Mallee Environmental Schools Festival

A hands on activity based day of environmental education for primary school students to learn about issues relating to water, biodiversity, waste and energy.

The festival is held in Mildura every second year and is a multiagency event.
